The Texas Chain Saw Massacre does not deviate too far from its forefathers' ideas, but it shakes up just enough elements to establish a new identity. Dead by Daylight is probably the subgenre's most well-known representative and its shadow looms heavily over every other horror-leaning title that fits the description. For the uninitiated, asymmetrical multiplayer refers to games that revolve around lopsided matches. While that project's life was sadly cut short, the developer's The Texas Chain Saw Massacre should help fill the void for anyone who loves these sorts of releases.
